Meet Dr. Tyler Wurmlinger
Dr. Tyler Wurmlinger is a highly skilled cosmetic and restorative dentist known for delivering exceptional results with precision, artistry, and an unwavering commitment to patient comfort. As the owner and lead dentist at Cosmetic Dentistry of the Carolinas, he is recognized for his meticulous approach, advanced clinical skill, and warm, reassuring presence that helps patients feel completely at ease. His work blends modern technology with thoughtful, personalized care, ensuring every patient receives treatment tailored to their unique goals and needs.
A graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, Dr. Wurmlinger built a strong clinical foundation before beginning his dental career in the United States Navy. There, he gained extensive hands-on experience in all areas of dentistry and developed the discipline and detail-oriented mindset that define his work today. After completing his service, he continued refining his expertise in private practice, providing comprehensive care that included preventive services, complex restorative procedures, and advanced aesthetic treatments. He remains committed to ongoing education in cosmetic dentistry to offer patients the most innovative and effective solutions for achieving healthy, confident, natural-looking smiles.
Since becoming owner in 2021, Dr. Wurmlinger has carried forward the practice’s long-standing reputation for excellence while elevating it with modern techniques, high-quality materials, and a strong patient-centered philosophy. Patients value not only the quality of his work but also his genuine kindness, thoughtful communication, and dedication to creating an exceptional experience from start to finish.
Outside the office, Dr. Wurmlinger enjoys spending time with his wife, Isabel, and their two dogs, Vlad and Lana. He loves watching sports, staying active with tennis, yoga, and golf, and appreciating life outside the practice with family and friends.
Meet Dr. ROSS Nash
Dr. Ross Nash began his academic journey at North Carolina State University, where he earned his degree in textile engineering before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His dedication to education continued well beyond dental school, as he went on to serve as an adjunct faculty member in postgraduate programs at institutions including Baylor College of Dentistry, the Medical College of Georgia, and New York University.
With over 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Nash is widely respected as a leader in the field of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dentists from across the United States and around the world have sought his expertise to learn about the latest advancements in dental techniques and materials.
Dr. Nash is one of only 80 Accredited Fellows of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry(AACD) worldwide — an elite designation that reflects his advanced training, artistic skill, and commitment to excellence. Throughout his career, he has helped thousands of patients of all ages maintain, restore, and enhance the health, function, and beauty of their smiles.
